At GraceLife we believe it's all about Jesus. He walked on the earth 2000 years ago but His message is as timeless and His power is as real now as then. Jesus isn't just for Christians or 'good' people. He's for those who don't feel good enough, for those who don't feel strong enough, for those who have simply come to realise that there is a God, and they aren't it.

THE GOOD NEWS
Mayhem and madness in our world have become everyday experiences, and the messaging in the news shows the moral breakdown of our society - something we all have to live with. It leaves the heart sad, empty and craving some Good News. And the gospel of Jesus Christ is that Good News. It’s in fact, the best news ever!
Jesus Himself tells us that “The thief’s purpose is to steal and kill and destroy. My purpose is to give them a rich and satisfying life.” (Jn 10:10). God created us for a live-giving relationship with Him and this is a gift we receive by believing in His Son, Jesus. The Bible says that “The gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord” (Rom 6:23). This free gift is not earned, or deserved.
Each one of us has sinned - whether this be lying, swearing, cheating, stealing, robbery or even something as terrible as murder. At some point in our lives every one of us has failed to live up to God’s righteous and perfect standard.
The truth is that we can do nothing to save ourselves from the consequence of our sins (which is eternal separation from God). But God is so loving and gracious toward us that He has made a way to pay the penalty for our sin and restore us to right relationship with Himself. God’s perfect son, Jesus, died a criminal’s death in our place. He was buried for three days, but death could not hold him down - He was brought back to life again on the third day. In doing this, He defeated sin, death, hell, and all the powers of evil.
He now lives and remains victorious.
By owning our sin and believing in Jesus as our personal Lord and Saviour, we can receive forgiveness and eternal life through Him... in this amazing exchange, God gives us His Spirit to live within us and begin the incredible journey of experiencing the abundant life-giving relationship with God, living as we were created to.
How do we begin to experience this? The Bible tells us that “if you confess with your mouth that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.” Rom 10:9
God is closer than you realise. No matter what your life’s situation, if you’re willing to surrender to Him, God will embrace you with open and loving arms!
Prayer
If you would like to experience this life-giving relationship with God, here's a prayer to help you begin that journey:
"Jesus, I come to you as a sinner. I believe that you died on the cross for my sins,
and I believe that you rose from the dead on the third day to give me eternal life.
I thank you for your forgiveness and Your gracious gift of eternal life.
I now commit to you as my Lord and Saviour. Help me to live for you
all the days of my life."
