About Us

GraceLife Church has a long and rich history in the state of Western Australia. Having been birthed as Hyde Street AOG our church has always had God's call to be a church that reaches, raises and releases... both for individuals and churches. Having overseen the planting of many churches over many years, we now have two worship centres in Perth and have strong connections with churches and ministries in several countries around the world.

At the end of the day, we are a kingdom-minded local church, looking for opportunities to serve an incredibly loving and gracious God. We invite anyone looking for a church to visit or be part of, to consider GraceLife Church.

Below you can find out more about our leadership, mission, vision, values and beliefs.

Mission

The direction of our church is grounded in the mandate that Jesus gave to His disciples in the final commission: "Go and make disciples of all nations" (Mt 28:18)…

to be and make disciples of Jesus Christ in authentic community.

Vision

We see the GraceLife of tomorrow as a church of significant influence in our city and across the nations.

We see her as a kingdom-minded church that is united in heart, strong in spirit and mighty in God.

We see people from every race and every background, of every generation and age, of every socio-economic standing; all being equipped and empowered to bring the good news of Christ into every strata of life in our communities.

We see GraceLife as a lighthouse church made up of Spirit-filled believers committed to shining hope and life to those without, as we extend our reach across the city, impacting all spheres of society.

We see an extensive network of well-resourced ministries and programs that bring pastoral care, practical assistance and a personal touch to the needy and the poor in heart.

We see a church full of everyday missionaries who have an uncontainable passion for Jesus, unwavering commitment to fulfilling His will and undeniable stories of His supernatural power at work.

This is the vision... to reach, raise and release.

Values

WORSHIP... His glory matters.

Embrace a loving posture of WORSHIP, in response to the way God has embraced us.

Loving God and Loving People always go hand in hand. (Isa 43:7; Mk 12:30-31; 1 Jn 4:19-21)

THE GOSPEL... the Message matters.

Proclaim the Great News of THE GOSPEL to all people, in all places.

The grace found in the Gospel of the Kingdom brings Salvation, Wholeness & Freedom. (Mt 4:23; Mk 16:15; Rom 1:16)

COMMUNITY... relationship matters.

Place people in authentic COMMUNITY, surrounding them with God’s love.

Christ-centred community always results in a culture of Care, Connection & Contribution. (Acts 2:42-47; Heb 10:24-25; Heb 13:1)

DISCIPLESHIP... Christ-likeness matters.

Train people through DISCIPLESHIP to become like Jesus, by the power of his Spirit.

The forum of discipleship matures us in Humility, Servanthood & Obedience. (Mt 28:19-20; Lk 6:40; Eph 4:15)

What we believe

We believe that in order to fully live the holy and fruitful lives that God intends for us, we need to be baptised in water and be filled with the power of the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit sovereignly gives us spiritual gifts, and it is both our privilege and responsibility to minister according to the gift(s) and grace that He has given us.

We believe that God has individually equipped us so that we can successfully achieve His purpose for our lives which is to worship God, fulfil our role in his Church and serve the community in which we live.

We believe that God wants to heal and transform us so that we can live healthy and prosperous lives in order to help others more effectively.

We believe that our eternal destination of either Heaven or Hell is determined by our response to the Lord Jesus Christ.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ is coming back again as he promised.

We believe that the Bible is the inspired Word of God. It is accurate, infallible, authoritative and applicable to our every day lives.

We believe in one eternal God who is the Creator of all things. He exists in three Persons: God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit. He is totally loving, entirely just and completely holy.

We believe that sin has separated each of us from God and his purpose for our lives.

We believe that the Lord Jesus Christ, the eternal Son of God, is the only One who can reconcile us to God. As both God and man, He lived a sinless and exemplary life, died on the cross in our place, and rose again to prove his victory and empower us for life.

We believe that in order to receive forgiveness and the 'new birth' we must repent of our sins, believe in the Lord Jesus Christ, and submit to his will for our lives.
